Sunday School Easter Programme
- The Sunday School Easter Programme was held on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at 4:30 pm held on the church grounds. The programme got off to a late start however that did nothing to alter the mood and the spirit of Easter: HALLELUJAH!!!! – Christ is risen!!!!!!
- The theme for the programme was; The Events of the Easter Story. Each Sunday school class was given the opportunity to choose an event that took place during the time of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection and present an item on that particular event.
- It was truly a memorable programme that highlighted the talent of our members and the blessings and peace that comes from serving Christ the risen Lord!

Calvary Missionary Sunday School
Calvary Missionary Church Sunday School starts a new year every September to coincide with the academic/ school year.
Each new Sunday School year, the members and visitors are channeled to a class depending on their age. There is a class for everyone, from the very young to the “not so young”. The Sunday school is made up of 13 classes with one teacher and a teacher’s assistant with a total of approximately 200 members. The Sunday School Department is responsible for the following activities every year.
Calvary Missionary Sunday School has been growing from strength to strength each year. As we minister to the members of the Sunday school we do so by using a theme and we pray that God will be seen in and through us as we teach and evangelize children and adults alike. We pray that God will continue to be glorified and people will continue to be saved and sanctified through the blood of JESUS.
Sunday School Activities
The Sunday school department is responsible for the following activities every year.
Sunday school Sundays every three months: The members of the Sunday School are responsible to plan the execute Sunday morning worship service.
Sunday school Easter programme: The programme is held the Sunday before Easter Monday in the afternoon.
Annual Easter picnic: This is held every year during Lenten season on Easter Monday. Members of the Sunday school participate in a day filled with activities, fun food and fellowship.
Thanksgiving Harvest Service: Members of the Sunday school also participates in the church’s annual thanksgiving harvest service held in the summer.
Annual Christmas programme: The Sunday school also puts on an annual Christmas Programme to commemorate the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ held the Sunday after Christmas Day.
Sunday school Bible Quiz: The Sunday school now hosts an annual Sunday school Bible Quiz. The quiz competition is divided into two areas the junior competition and the senior competition. The winning team receives a trophy that is kept for the year.
